Aston Martin
Due to the state of the economy today, Aston Martin’s ambitious sales goals have veered off course. But the British car maker is very optimistic that the three new models it will release next year will help the company get back on course.
The first car for Aston will be the oddest one they will ever build. With a tie up with Toyota, Aston Martin will start building its own version of the Toyota iQ minicar. Dubbed as the Cygnet, the urban vehicle will begin production next year.
The next car to be released is the Rapide. The Rapide is a four door salon; it made its international at the recently held Frankfurt Motor Show. The four door salon will be on sale to the US around the third quarter of 2010. Official pricing has yet to be announced, but the Rapide is expected to be priced from about $230,000.
Last is the much anticipated One-77, as the name implies, Aston Martin will only make 77 of these cars so it will be very rare and very expensive.
